Dera Satya Prakash ji, I read and run the software for column design. It is really useful and fast. Many iterations can be done quickly to get nearly optimum column design values.

A Master Piece from a Master Structural Designer to the Civil Engineers. The Father- Son duo has crafted this software of column design and has steadily improved on their software over the years to ultimate culmination in this version. I had their earlier version for column design of Multistory structures,liquid retaining structures etc and found that it is not only user friendly but also time saving and accurate. The present version is much improved one incorporating linking all important clauses of column design of IS 456-2000, IS-1893-2002 n IS -13920 thus enabling designer to work on various options instantaneously and definitely a handy tool for retrofittings . I hope this will act as a catalyst to formulate solutions for more n more civil engineering problems in the years to come by the Father- Son duo.
